A Day in the Life of Year 5 & 6

At Living Waters, Years 5 & 6 is where students grow into confident, capable learners and leaders. Each day balances faith, fitness, literacy, numeracy, inquiry, and wellbeing in a rhythm that helps every child flourish.

Session 1 (8:20am – 10:20am)

  • Fitness – daily movement builds wellbeing, teamwork, and focus.
  • Devotion / Worship / Assembly – fellowship, prayer, and reflection to begin the day with purpose.
  • Literacy – small, targeted groups extend skills in phonics, grammar, writing, and comprehension.

Key learning outcome: Students strengthen reading fluency, expand vocabulary, and develop confidence as communicators and writers.

Session 2 (11:00am – 1:00pm)
